Stoke took the lead on 16 minutes when Siguardsson volleyed home a right-wing cross. Solly pulled off several saves in the second half but was beaten again on 75 minutes. Unchallenged Sweeney got on the end of a pass from Josh Wilson and slotted the ball past the helpless Rangers keeper.
