Forest Green took the lead in the 17th minute. Simon Clist delivered the ball to the far post where Allan Russell headed home.
Danny Edwards replaced the injured Guy Madjo at the interval and provided the cross the led to Rangers’ equaliser in the 52nd minute. Both Robin Gibson and defender Darren Jones were for a dangerous left-wing cross with the ball ending up in the net. Gibson was credited with his first goal of the season.
But the home side hit back with what proved to be the winner two minutes later. Rigoglioso drove into the bottom right corner from the edge of the area.
