Stafford ended a run of four straight defeats though Tamworth keeper Sean Bowles prevented the team recording a much-needed win. Early in the second half he acrobatically pushed away a looping header from Street and near the end made a double save to deny Guy Madjo and Neil Grayson. Joe Kendrick cleared a header from a Tamworth defender off the line seconds before the final whistle.
