Midland Alliance newcomers Stapenhill came out on top is this friendly against a Stafford Rangers XI, thanks to a hat-trick from striker Stefan Marshall. Boro, with Neil Grayson the only first-team regular in action, scored just before the interval through Ross Draper in the 40th minute.
