Goals from Dean Hammond, Alex Revell and Jake Robinson earned Brighton a place in the third round of the FA Cup. Hammond broke the deadlock when he fired home from 20 yards and Robinson sent a shot just wide soon after. Revell made it 2-0 midway through the second half when he met a Sam Rents cross with a downward header into the corner of the net.
