From Aberystwyth University’s Vicarage Field ground, it was a 16-mile drive down the A487 to the picturesque seaside town of Aberaeron for the second match of the day. Visitors for this 1-30 pm kick-off were Machynlleth and a crowd of 224 saw the home side record a 3-1 victory. The pitch, named The Square, is hemmed in by ‘Ballamory’-style painted houses, and lacked any spectator or player facilities – that really didn't matter in a such a stunning location or a nice dry afternoon.
