On the way back to Stafford from Appleby Frodingham, I deviated off the M1 to watch the 7-30 pm final Bonanza game – my third game of the day. Home side Glapwell were members of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division 1 South last season but decided to drop several steps down the pyramid in order to survive. They have struggled this season (currently second from bottom) and went down 2-0 to visitors Parkhouse FC though gained a boost with an attendance of 201 as well as healthy sales of food and memorabilia.
